    Veterans IN Farming Member Muster

    Members are invited to join us for our upcoming Veterans IN Farming Member Muster, a quarterly online meeting focused on organizational updates, upcoming events, and member engagement.

    Date: February 17, 2026
    Time: 6:00 PM Eastern Time

    During this meeting, we will:

    • Review upcoming Veterans IN Farming events

    • Share updates and priorities for the year ahead

    • Answer member questions

    • Discuss ways members can stay engaged and involved


    As a relatively new organization, Veterans IN Farming is committed to reaching and serving as many Indiana veterans as possible, and member participation is essential to strengthening and growing our impact.

    To maintain a secure, members-only meeting environment, advance registration is required. The Zoom meeting link will not be posted publicly on Facebook or on our website.

    Register in advance using the link emailed on January 29th. If you didn't get the email please log into your VIF portal on our website and update your contact information. If you need help email us at anytime.

    After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email from Zoom with instructions for joining the meeting.

    Meeting reminders will be shared through Veterans IN Farming’s Facebook page leading up to the event.

    Overview:
    Veterans from Indiana and beyond are invited to attend the 22nd Annual West Virginia Small Farm Conference. This event offers practical workshops, networking opportunities, and access to programs designed to support beginning farmers. Scholarships are available for first-time attendees, making it a great opportunity for those looking to expand their farming skills and knowledge as well as reaching a market to our south.


    Conference Highlights:

    • Scholarships Available: Full registration coverage for first-time attendees. Deadline: January 29, 2026.

    • Friday Night Mixer & Nonprofit Roundtable – Meet fellow veteran farmers and nonprofit partners for networking and camaraderie.

    • AgrAbility Information Sessions – Learn about programs and resources available to disabled veteran and beginning farmers. 

    • Winter Blues Farmers Market (Feb 28, 12–5 PM) – Explore local West Virginia products, including vegetables, meats, maple syrup, and more. Free and open to the public.

    • Workshops & Education – Sessions focused on farm production, local marketing, and building a successful small farm operation.

    Goals of the Conference:

    • Support small farms transitioning from commodity production to local food production.

    • Provide reliable, tested knowledge on current trends, skills, and farm operations.

    • Strengthen local food systems by encouraging production, processing, and marketing in West Virginia communities.

    Join Us for the Veterans In Farming State Meeting 2026


    We’re excited to announce that registration is open for our 3rd Annual Veterans In Farming State Meeting 2026, held at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel on March 28, 2026.

    • Saturday Classes March 28: Morning classes will be under an hour presentations with a large selection to choose from.
    • Saturday Afternoon Workshops: Longer session hands on workshops in the afternoon will allow time for an in depth exploration into our most requested topics.

    Registration Details:

    • Scholarships Available: Veterans and their caregiver only $20 for both to attend (this includes meals, classes/workshops, and expo) 
    • Standard Non-Veteran Registration: $120 per non-Veteran attendee, covering all meals and event access. 
    • Speaker Registration: Please choose the Speaker Option when registering for your ticket. 
    • Under 16 are free, but please let us know so we have a headcount for meals.

    Accommodation:

    • Please book your stay at our onsite hotel using our event discount by clicking here.
