About

Veterans IN Farming is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing Hoosier veterans and their dependent family members with the tools, training, and support they need to succeed in homesteading, farming, ranching, and agriculture.

When you join Veterans IN Farming, you’re joining a supportive community that is focused on helping you and your family grow and succeed.

We put our passion into action by providing mentorship, classes, and hands-on training events throughout the year.

In partnership with At Ease Orchard, Jack’s Farm, and Porter Farm, we hold classes on topics ranging from beekeeping to planting techniques and water conservation to soil health. Visit our Events page to see our schedule and register for upcoming classes!

We also work with Hoosier Uplands, AgVet, and AgrAbility to provide training for disabled veterans on how they can use adaptive farming practices to achieve their goals.

Veterans IN Farming is thankful for our close partnership with At Ease Orchard and for the generous grant from the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). This grant supplied the funding that makes it possible for us to continue and expand our mission of serving veteran farmers and their families.

We’d love for you to join us! Become a member today to take part in our upcoming classes and training events.
