Veterans IN Farming
Veterans IN Farming connects military veterans through farm tours, mentorship, online and in-person workshops, and agriculture events rooted in Indiana and the Midwest.
Indiana Roots. Midwest Programs.
While the IN in our name stands for Indiana, membership is open to military veterans from any state. Our strongest program footprint is in Indiana and the Midwest, with online learning and veteran connections extending beyond the region.
Members include long-time farmers, working producers, beginning farmers, homesteaders, gardeners, and veterans exploring agriculture for the first time.

Program Focus
Visit working farms, attend regional gatherings, and learn from veterans and producers with real agricultural experience.
Join online and in-person workshops covering farming, livestock, gardening, homesteading, equipment, farm business, and food production.
Connect with other military veterans in agriculture. Ask questions, compare notes, find support, and build relationships that last beyond a single event.
Experienced Farmers Matter
Veterans IN Farming is not only for beginners. Experienced farmers, ranchers, growers, and homesteaders are an important part of the organization. Their knowledge helps strengthen programs through farm visits, workshops, mentoring, producer conversations, and real examples from the field.
