Ever wondered how to graft and propagate on fruit shrubs, vines, and trees? Well now is your chance for an immersive experience in fruit propagation from an Indiana expert!

Come to Porter Farm in Danville (4680 W US HWY 36) on June 13th to learn from expert Dr. Kris Klueg Heeter, retired research biologist and former Associate Director for genetic repository at Indiana University. She is the President of the North American Fruit Explorers (NAFEX) and the Indiana Nut and Fruit Growers Association (INFGA). She and her husband, Brian, have a small orchard and classified forest on 100-acres and Kris has worked with INGFA to develop the first Indiana fruit and nut tree repository on their property. Come hear what she has to share from her wealth of experience with fruit trees and shrubs in Indiana!

We are excited to offer this tasty class in partnership with the Hendricks County Soil & Water Conservation District. For more information or questions, you can contact them at 317-745-2555 X 3 or brianna.ollier@in.nacdnet.net
